A member may be nominated for an Honorary or Life Membership for valuable services rendered.  Nominations should be forwarded to a board member.  Nominations will be presented at the Annual General Meeting and confirmed by three-fourths vote of the membership in attendance.

Honorary Membership Criteria

Nominees should meet any of the following criteria:

•Individual that is recognized as having had a major impact on the development of Fraser Valley Highland Dancing Association and its objectives.

1. •Performer and/or competitor who is recognized as having had a major positive impact through their outstanding achievements on the dance community as a whole.
   

Life Membership Criteria
Nominees should meet any of the following criteria:

•Outstanding service to Fraser Valley Highland Dancing Association at the provincial level;

•Service that has extended over time;

•Service that is recognized as having had a major impact on the development of Fraser Valley Highland Dancing Association and its objectives;

1. •Performer and/or competitor who is recognized as having had a major positive impact through their outstanding achievements on the dance community as a whole.
