The FVHDA is a volunteer run organization.   Members are asked to volunteer once a season for each child they have in the association.

This year membership fees include an "in lieu of volunteering fee".

The  volunteer schedule for the season will be emailed to members and posted to this site. It is the member’s responsibility to notify the FVHDA volunteer co-ordinator if he/she is not able to make the time given to him/her.

Please Contact Nikki Anderson immediately if you are not able to make your shift. It would be greatly appreciated if you could make arrangements to trade shifts with another parent if you know in advance that you will not be able to attend the competition.

The executive on the FVHDA committee are parents of dancers and we know how difficult it is for people to find time to volunteer, to raise funds, and run events, whether it is for highland dancing or other activities. Yet at the same time we are encouraged by the fact dancers and families want to support our organization and our highland dancers to participate in competitions.
