Dancers must join the FVHDA and pay a membership fee prior to being entered in any FVHDA closed competitions.  FVHDA boundaries are open to dancers in North America.

There are three classes of membership in the Association.

  1. Ordinary Members are entitled to one vote per member at all meetings of members of the Association.
  2. Life Members have the same privileges as ordinary members and will be exempt from annual fees.
  3. Honorary Members are not entitled to vote at, but are entitled to notice of meetings of the members of the Association, and are not required to pay any membership fees.
